1. 2 cups almond flour
2. 1 tsp baking powder
3. 1/4 tsp salt
4. 4 large eggs room temperature
5. 1/2 cup honey
6. 2 tbsp coconut oil or butter
7. 1 tsp vanilla extract
8.Red food colouring or beet juice
1. Creamed honey
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Grease a 9-inch cake pan.
Mix dry ingredients.
In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, oil/butter, vanilla.
Add food colouring or beet juice.
Fold dry into wet.
Pour into cake pan and bake for 25 minutes.
While cake is baking mix frosting ingredients.
Remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool.
